To save a list of all programs to a text file, click Save to text file. (This is recommended for advanced users only, for when a program has been removed but the uninstall entry remains.) Click Delete to remove the program's uninstall entry without uninstalling it.Click Rename to give the program a new name (this will also affect the Windows Control Panel, but not the Start Menu, the program’s desktop icon, etc.).(Typically, this will reinstall the software, but without necessarily losing your settings.) How to uninstall, delete, or rename a program: This is handy if a program hasn't been uninstalled from your computer correctly and still shows as a listed program on your system, etc., but deleting an entry is not the same as uninstalling a program.
